Living in Vermont, everyone needs a car sometimes, but you don’t have to own one (or more) to enjoy the convenience of driving. Whenever you need to drive, reserve the vehicle of your choice near you, get in, and go. When you’re done, return it to its parking spot and be on your merry way.

Applying is quick and easy. If you're 18 or over, with a good driving record, you're in. If you're unsure, you can review our eligibility requirements. Once approved, we'll get you going in 1-2 business days!

Reserve

Choose the date and time for your trip using our online reservation system or mobile app, and select your car or truck from one of 22 locations around town. For longer trips, you can reserve by the day.

Drive

When it's time, use your smartphone or access card to unlock the car, grab the keys from inside the car, and go.

Return

Once you're done, just drop the car or truck off at its home pod. You're billed for your trip using the credit card on file.

You only pay for what you use.

CarShare Vermont’s all-inclusive rates start at $7.50/hr and 45¢/mile, with day rates also available.
